Silverado EV Introduces Trail Boss Trim for 2026 Model Year

The future of electric trucks just got more exciting with the introduction of the Trail Boss trim on the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV. Known for its rugged look and off-road capabilities, the Trail Boss name has been a staple in the Chevy truck lineup for years. Now, with the Silverado EV, the iconic trim is evolving to combine impressive performance with an electric powertrain. Jeff Belzer’s Chevrolet is excited to share the features of the 2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss.
Design and Features
As we know, the Trail Boss is known for its demanding, identifiable design. The 2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss will have a 2-inch factory lift and 18-inch wheels with 35-inch all-terrain tires. These make sure you’re able to navigate any terrain. This trim will also have a distinctive and exclusive interior available. It is Black and Artemis with red stitching. You’ll also see those red details on the tow hooks. The Trail Boss will also have 4-Wheel steering standard with the Sidewinder diagonal steering. When you put it in Sidewinder mode, it allows the back wheels to mimic the angle of the front wheels, which moves your vehicle diagonally.
Pricing
On the Trail Boss 2TR, the MSRP can range from $70,000 to $79,600 depending on what package you want. There is a Plus Package and a Premium Package to choose from for add-ons. All of the options on the 2TR are Extended Range. The Trail Boss 3TR starts at $86,600. The difference between the 2TR and 3TR lies in SuperCruise and the range. SuperCruise comes with the 3LT, and you also get the Max Range on the 3TR. At this time, we do not have information on final ranges yet, but please contact Jeff Belzer’s Chevrolet for updates.
Other notable callouts on the 2026 model year include two new battery ranges on the LT trim. On the Work Truck trim level, expect to see a WT Custom Package later in the year. In addition, because of the introduction of the Trail Boss, the RST trim will no longer be available.
With the Trail Boss trim now part of the 2026 Silverado EV, Chevy is proving that electric power doesn’t mean compromising on rugged capability. Whether you’re hitting the trails or tackling tough worksite jobs, the Silverado EV Trail Boss is designed to deliver exceptional performance while embracing a more sustainable future.
