The Build and Price Process 

This process will just take 15 minutes or less to have your completely personalized Tahoe ready to order. Let’s go through the steps that you’ll see when going through this process. 

1. Trim Style 

The first decision you’ll make is what drive type you want: 2WD or 4WD. Then, you’ll choose your desired trim level. Today, we’ll show starting MSRP’s for the 4WD option. Also, assume that each trim level includes what the previous trim level offers, unless otherwise indicated. 

LS:  

  • Starting MSRP: $63,495 
  • 5.3L V8 Engine 
  • 18” Bright Silver painted aluminum wheels 
  • 17.7” diagonal LCD display 

LT: 

  • Starting MSRP: $66,695 
  • Power Programmable Liftgate 
  • Heated driver and front passenger seats 
  • Available Jet Black, Leather-Appointed Seating Surfaces 

Z71: 

  • Starting MSRP: $70,495 
  • 20” bright machined and painted Technical Gray aluminum wheels 
  • Front and rear skid plates 
  • Red recovery hooks 

RST: 

  • Starting MSRP: $71,495 
  • 22” bright machined High-Gloss Black painted wheels 
  • Available Jet Black / Victory Red Perforated leather seats 
  • Inside rearview auto-dimming mirror 

Premier: 

  • Starting MSRP: $78,095 
  • 20” polished aluminum wheels 
  • Bose CenterPoint Surround 10-speaker audio system 
  • LED headlamps with animated lighting 

High Country: 

  • Starting MSRP: $83,195 
  • 6.2L V8 engine 
  • 22” bright machined aluminum and painted After Midnight wheels 
  • Rear camera mirror

 

2. Exterior

Color 

Now you will choose the exterior color of the vehicle. You have different options per trim level, and some paint colors come at an additional cost, which is marked below. 

  • LS and LT: Dark Ash, Black, Sterling Gray, Summit White, Lakeshore Blue, Radiant Red ($495) 
  • Z71 and RST: Dark Ash, Black, Sterling Gray, Cypress Gray ($395), Radiant Red ($495), Iridescent Pearl ($995) 
  • Premier and High Country: Dark Ash, Black, Sterling Gray, Lakeshore Blue, Radiant Red ($495), Iridescent Pearl ($995)   

Wheels 

Next up are the wheels. On the LS, LT, and High Country trim levels, you have 9 different wheel options to choose from. On the RST and Premier trim levels, you have a whopping 10 options. It really is up to personal preference, and they come at varying costs. On the Z71, you only have one option: the standard 20” Technical Gray aluminum wheels. 

 

3. Interior

  • LS: Jet Black premium cloth or Gideon/Very Dark Atmosphere premium cloth 
  • LT and Z71: Jet Black leather-appointed or Gideon/Very Dark Atmosphere leather-appointed 
  • RST: Jet Black/Victory Red perforated leather 
  • Premier: Jet Black perforated leather or Jet Black/Sky Cool Gray perforated leather 
  • High Country: Jet Black perforated leather or Jet Black/Mocha perforated leather

4. Options

The finish line is in sight! Your last step is to add-on any additional options you may want to customize your vehicle. Let’s go through some offerings. 

Packages 

  • Max or Advanced Trailering Package 
  • Get Active Package 
  • Cargo Convenience Package 
  • Illumination Package 
  • Technology and Entertainment Package 
  • High Country Deluxe 

Exterior 

Some exterior options include upper and lower active aero shutters, panoramic sunroof, cross rails, black nameplates or emblems, splash guards, Power Liftgate, chrome assist steps, and more. 

Interior 

A few of the interior options include rear seat media system, console mounted sage, floor liners, cargo mats, power second row bench seat, sport pedal cover kit, and cargo net and shade. 

 

5. Summary

And you’re done! You just need to click the Summary button, and it will lead you to a breakdown of your order. It will show all of the different costs and features, and you can even edit your build from this screen. Once you’re happy with your build, you can Request Custom Order by choosing a dealer of your choice and entering in some additional details. On this screen, it also shows you inventory that is similar to your build, but that is already on the lot at the dealership. If you want to get your vehicle right now rather than waiting a number of months for it to be built, this is a great feature.
