Achieve Invitational
The Achieve Invitational is put on by Achieve Performance Psychology. This golf event chooses a different organization to support every year. This year, all proceeds went to the Tommy Watkins Foundation. This organization provides social, athletic, educational and scholarship opportunities for youth in need. Tommy Watkins, the Minnesota Twins third base coach, founded it in 2020 to give back to the communities that supported him throughout his childhood and career. Jeff Belzer’s was the presenting sponsor of the event, and we had an amazing time interacting with the golfers and supporting the cause.Czech Out New Prague
Czech Out New Prague is a highly anticipated annual event held on the first Thursday of August, where local eateries and a wide variety of exhibitors gather at Memorial Park to showcase what New Prague has to offer. This year, over 45 exhibitors participated including Jeff Belzers, the Czech Hertiage Club, New Prague Area Schools, and many more. Visitors received stamp cards to take to each booth, and when completed they were entered into a drawing for $100 in New Prague Chamber Czechs. Food vendors like Ofelia’s Fresh Mexican Food and Pizzeria 201 provided guests with delicious food. The event was alive with music from Bob’s Rubber Band and Jazz on the Prairie Band. The New Prague Dance Team wowed the crowd with their stunning performance, and the ATA Family Martial Arts demo was a hit. It was a night filled with community spirit and fun for all.Basilica Block Party
Basilica Block Party took place on August 2nd and 3rd at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis and we were thrilled to be the exclusive automotive sponsor of this summer concert series. This two-day music festival brought together an amazing lineup of artists. Day one had Goo Goo Dolls as the headliner with supporting performances from The Fray, Dean Lewis, Red Clay Strays, Yam Haus, and Socktopus. Day two featured Counting Crows headlining and NeedToBreathe, Judah & The Lion, Phillip Phillips, St Paul and the Minneapolis Funk All Stars, and Guytano supporting. After a 3-year hiatus, Basilica Block Party made it a weekend to remember at this new venue.
Housing First Golf Open
Jeff Belzer’s held a Hole-In-One competition at the Housing First Golf Open. Housing First is a trade association for residential builders, remodelers, and suppliers. With a vision to provide dignified housing in the pursuit of ending homelessness and a mission to build safe housing for Minnesotans in need, the Housing First Minnesota Foundation continues to make a meaningful contribution to the community. Jeff Belzer’s is a proud sponsor of Taste of Lakeville which is a community celebration where you can get all-you-can-eat samples of the area’s best restaurants and caterers along with tasting of wine, beer, and spirits. Proceeds from this event go to support scholarships, the Heritage Center, youth programs, and more. Thank you to the Lakeville Rotary for all of the hard work that goes into this event! Jeff Belzer’s gave out samples of 1919 Root Beer and Buddy’s Soda. The night was a huge success with thousands attending. We can’t wait for 2025!
Prior Lake High School Activities Back to School Bash
Back to school already? This summer flew by, and we celebrated the return of school activities at Charlie’s on Prior at the Prior Lake Activities Back to School Bash. We were one of 12 sponsors of a high school sports team that received a check to benefit their program. It was a wonderful night of raising money for equipment, busing, coaches, and more. Jeff Belzer’s wishes Laker athletes the best of luck this season!Spot’s Last Stop Dog Days of Summer 
Spot’s Last Stop Canine Rescue was at Charlie’s on Prior with adoptable dogs, dog trainer tips, face painting, 50/50 cash raffle, live Music, and more for the Dog Days of Summer. It was a fun summer event filled with adorable dogs – many of which found their forever homes! Spot’s Last Stop will be building a permanent facility in Prior Lake in the near future, and we are excited for this addition!
Jeff Belzer’s Car Show
For the first time, Jeff Belzer’s held a Car Show at our Lakeville location. Partnering up with Cars Against Crime and the Classic Corvettes of Minnesota Club, we cleared off our used lot to welcome 72 cars for our show. Thank you all for attending! Strike Zone Sports Golf Event
Strike Zone Sports offers lessons and clinics for Minnesota Fastpitch Softball pitching, catching, hitting, slapping, and fielding. Their facility in Eagan welcomes many young athletes to educate and develop their skills. Strike Zone Sports hosted a golf event in August to raise money for their program, and Jeff Belzer’s was a proud sponsor. August was certainly a busy month for us!
