What is the Chevrolet AutoSense Liftgate?

The AutoSense liftgate is a hands-free feature available on certain models which allows you to open and close the vehicle’s liftgate without clicking any buttons on the vehicle or the key fob. By simply walking within 3 feet of your vehicle, it will open on its own! Be sure to have the keyfob in your hand or somewhere on your person so it can “automatically sense” the key. If you move away from the 3-foot area, the opening will cancel. If you stay within that radius for a few seconds, it will indicate that it will begin to open by a set of beeps. Whether you’re unloading groceries, heavy boxes, or the kid’s sports equipment, this feature makes it easier to access the rear cargo area.

What Models is the AutoSense Liftgate Available On?

The AutoSense Liftgate is available on several Chevrolet models, including the Equinox, Traverse, Trailblazer, Equinox EV, and Blazer EV. Although not available on all models, we hope they keep adding more that have this feature!
